Notations On Our World (Weekly Edition): On the Prowl In Our "Virtual Route 66" This Week

As President Biden entered his second year in office, Time Magazine's cover reflected the profound sense of challenges faced by the United States.    This is as the challenge of China and Russia loomed large as the World was witness to Russian bullying regarding Ukraine, Europe was dealing with potential gas supply challenges,  China continues its' zero covid stance which has led to a slowdown and as the World was witness to a tragedy in Tonga underscoring how vulnerable mother earth is.    This was also as the Virtual World Economic Forum was held with speeches by World Leaders.     Our team was also on the prowl regarding the continued negotiations between Iran and the 4 European Powers along with the United States trying to slow down Iran's march towards a bomb.     A number of prominent activists traveled to Vienna to participate in a hunger strike to protest the plight of Iranian Dual Nationals being held in Iran currently.

We present a curation of the week that was courtesy the Financial Times, Bloomberg, the Economist of London, The Bulwark and other leading publications:
