As Hurricane Florence wrecks Havoc on the East Coast of the United States, we wanted to praise all the first respondents on the front lines as a we also hope and aspire to a life beyond fossil fuels epitomized by what our home state, California, adopted earlier this week and what China is doing now as captured by the Daily Overview along with what can be truly possible if climate change was truly taken seriously courtesy of the team at Global Citizen:
